Multipurpose Rooms
The MAC has two 800 square foot multipurpose rooms, with maximum capacities of 35 guests in each room. There is also one 1,500 square foot meeting room with a divider, capable of accommodating up to 70 guests. The multipurpose rooms are perfect for meetings, educational classes, arts and crafts classes, informal gatherings, or additional rooms for your wedding and reception. Rooms include a residential-style sink with access to water. Some rooms include a dry erase board. Multipurpose rooms are only available during operating hours.

Alcohol Permit

Approved City of Westminster alcohol permit allows up to 4 hours of serving time with security provided by off-duty Westminster officers.

• Events with alcohol require off-duty police officers.

• Alcohol is not allowed at events honoring guests under the age of 21.

• Events under 150 people (1 Officer) is $70/hour.

• Events over 150 people (2 Officers) is $140/hour.

• Cash bars are not permitted.

“I was skeptical at first about having a wedding reception at an active adult community center. However, I could not be happier with our decision. Having our reception at the MAC was one of the best decisions we made for that day. The staff was amazing and the process was very simple. The cost fit perfectly into our tight budget. We loved that we could make that room what we wanted from scratch and bring in our own food and alcohol. Another amazing thing was that they allowed us to set everything up the day before our reservation. Our reception was on Saturday and we were able to go in on Friday afternoon and set all the decorations. It REALLY cut down on day-of stresses. We met with the staff a month ahead of the wedding and drew up a floor plan and when we arrived, the tables and chairs were set up according to the plan. The only difficulty we encountered was that hanging lights from the ceiling was a bit challenging. Our caterer completely geeked out over their large kitchen. On the day, everything with the venue went so smoothly. I highly recommend the MAC as an event venue!! I was super pleased with everything! Thank you!”
